Stovetop simmer blend and bath soak set. Ick-B-Gon (3 oz) and Sit-n-Stew (6 oz).
The long day is finally over, or the person who made it long just left. The pot goes on the stove. The bath runs warm upstairs. The door’s closed, and nobody’s knocking tonight.
Ick-B-Gon simmers cinnamon, clove, and star anise until your place smells like you again. Sit-n-Stew is the long, warm soak with lavender, rose petals, and mugwort. Cozy house, warm bath, closed door.
How to use it
- Ick-B-Gon: empty the bag into a small pot, cover with water, and keep it on low. Top off the water as it cooks down.
- Sit-n-Stew: run a warm bath, drop the whole muslin bag in, and let it steep. Squeeze it now and then while you soak.
- Let the simmer pot dry out between uses, then give the spices a gentle squeeze to wake the oils back up. Reuse for a day or two, until the scent fades. Toss it if anything looks fuzzy or smells off.
Inside Ick-B-Gon: cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, star anise pods.
Inside Sit-n-Stew: Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), lavender, rose petals, mugwort.
Ick-B-Gon 3 oz, Sit-n-Stew 6 oz. Ships next business day, Monday through Friday. Handmade in small batches in Grovetown, GA by your favorite village elder, Lady Hao. Every item is mixed, measured, and tied up by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
Ick-B-Gon: home fragrance only. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Keep away from kids and pets. Never leave a simmering pot unattended.
Sit-n-Stew: bath soak for external use only. Not for consumption. Patch test before first use. Contains mugwort, so don’t use it if you’re pregnant or nursing, or if you’re sensitive to any ingredient. Keep out of eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
